Inside Sales Representative

Sturgeon Technology Services manages IT hardware and executes IT-related projects, such as computer and server testing and configuration. Our customers are mostly Fortune-1000 companies. We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative. The successful candidate will likely be early in their sales career, self-motivated and with a good knowledge of the IT space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Identify and target prospective buyers by taking advantage of warm leads and reaching out via email and phone. Build and maintain strong relationships to understand their unique needs and demands.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain an understanding of our IT hardware product inventory, pricing strategies, and market trends, staying updated on emerging technologies.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously research the IT resale market, competitor activities,

General Requirements:

  • 2+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in the computer / IT sector. A recent college graduate, wanting to start a career in sales and a good knowledge of IT hardware, may also be a successful candidate.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platform is a strong plus
  • Self-driven, results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate degree - 4-year degree is a plus
